حديث رقم 1
1- عن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص رضي الله عنهما : عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم .. قال : " الكبائر : الاشراك بالله ، وعقوق الوالدين ، وقتل النفس ، واليمين الغموس " ( رواه البخاري )
1- On the authority of Abdullah Ibn Amr Ibn Al Aas ( may Allah be pleased with him ), who said: The prophet ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) said: Among the major sins are: Association of anybody with Allah, disobedience to parents, killing of a person, and taking a false oath ( perjury). ( Bukhari )
حديث رقم 2
- عن عبد الله بن مسعود رضي الله عنه : عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم .. قال : " لا يدخل الجنة من كان في قلبه مثقال ذرة من كبر " فقال رجل : إن الرجل يحب أن يكون ثوبه حسناً ونعله حسنة ؟ قال : " إن الله جميل يحب الجمال .. الكبر بطر الحق وغمط الناس " . ( رواه مسلم )
On the authority of Abdullah bin masud ( may Allah be pleased with him ), who said: The prophet ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) said: One who has the slightest bit of arrogance in his heart, will not be able to enter Paradise.. One of the companions said: O Messenger of Allah ! some people like nice clothes and shoes. The prophet said: Allah is Elegant and Beautiful and he likes elegance and beauty. Arrogance is rejecting faith and considering others lower than yourself.
حديث رقم 3
عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : " انظروا إلى من هو أسفل منكم ولا تنظروا إلى من هو فوقكم فهو أجدر أن لا تزدروا نعمة الله عليكم " . ( رواه البخاري ومسلم ، واللفظ لمسلم )
- On the authority of Abu Hurairah ( may Allah be pleased with him ), who said: The messenger of Allah ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) said: Look upon one who is below you in status and do not look upon one who is above you in status. In this way you will not look down upon the grace that Allah has bestowed upon you. ( Bukhari and Muslim ) وميم حرف
حديث رقم 4
- عن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص رضي الله عنهما : عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : " المسلم من سلم المسلمون من لسانه ويده ، والمهاجر من هجر ما نهى الله عنه " . ( رواه البخاري ومسلم ، واللفظ للبخاري )
- On the authority of Abdullah bin Amr bin Al Aas ( may Allah be pleased with him ), who said: The prophet ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) said: A Muslim is a person who does not harm another Muslim with his tongue or with his hands and Muhajer ( an avoider ) is he who leaves ( avoids ) that which Allah has forbidden. ( Bukhari and Muslim )
حديث رقم 5
- عن أب هريرة رضي الله عنه قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : " والذي نفسي بيده ! ليأتين على الناس زمان لا يدري القاتل في أي شيء قتل ، ولا يدري المقتول على أي شيء قتل " . ( رواه مسلم )
- On the authority of Abu Hurairah ( may Allah be pleased with him ), who said: The prophet ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) said : A time will come when the murderer will not know why he has committed the murder and the victim will not know why he has been killed. ( Muslim )
حديث رقم 6
عن أب سعيد وأبي هريرة رضي الله عنهما : عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : " ما يصيب المسلم من نصب ولا وصب ولا هم ولا حزن ولا غم ، حتى الشوكة يشاكها إلا غفر الله بها من خطاياه " . ( رواه البخاري ومسلم )
On the authority of Abu Saeed and Abu Hurairah ( may Allah be pleased with them ), who said: The prophet ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) said: For any trouble illness worry grief hurt or sorrow which afflicts a Muslim even the pricking of a thorn Allah removes in its place some of his minor sins. ( Bukhari and Muslim )
حديث رقم 7
عن أبي سعيد رضي الله عنه قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : " أفضل الجهاد من قال كلمة حق عند سلطانٍ جائر ". (رواه أبو داوود )
On the authority of Abu Saeed ( may Allah be pleased with him ), who said: The prophet ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) said: The best jihad is when a person speaks the truth before a tyrant ruler. ( Abu Daoud )
حديث رقم 8
- عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما : أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : " أبغض الحلال إلى الله الطلاق " . ( رواه أبو داوود )
On the authority of Ibn Umar ( may Allah be pleased with him ), who said: The prophet ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) said: The most disliked act out of the lowful acts in the sight of Allah is divorce. ( Abu Daoud )
حديث رقم 9
عن أبي أيوب الأنصاري رضي الله عنه قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : " لا يحل للرجل أن يهجر أخاه فوق ثلاث ليالٍ يلتقيان فيعرض هذا ويعرض هذا وخيرهما الذي يبداً بالسلام " . ( رواه البخاري ومسلم ، واللفظ لمسلم )
On the authority of Aby Ayyub Al Ansari ( may Allah be pleased with him ), who said: The Messenger of Allah ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) said: It is sinful for a person to ignore his brother for mor than three days . The best of them is he who takes an initiative and pays salutation. ( Bukhari and Muslim )
حديث رقم 10
عن جرير بن عبد الله رضي الله عنه قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : " من لا يرحم الناس لا يرحمه الله " . ( رواه البخاري ومسلم )
On the authority of Jarir bin Abdullah ( may Allah be pleased with him ), who said: The Messenger of Allah ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) said: Allah has no mercy on one who has no mercy for others. ( Bukhari and Muslim )
حديث رقم 11
عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أنه قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " ما من مولود إلا يولد على الفطرة ، فأبواه يهودانه وينصرانه ويمجسانه ، كما تُنتج البهيمة بهيمة جمعاء ، هل تحسون فيها من جدعاء ؟ " . ( رواه البخاري ومسلم ) .
On the authority of Abu Hurairah ( may Allah be pleased with him ), who said: The Massenger of Allah ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) said: Every one is born to his true nature. It is his parents who make him a Jew or a Christian or a Magian ( fire worshipper ) quite as beasts produce their young with their limbs perfect. Do you see anything deficient in them?. ( Bukhari and Muslim )
حديث رقم 12
- عن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : " لا تسبوا الأموات فإنهم قد أفضوا إلى ما قدّموا " . ( رواه البخاري )
On the authority of Aisha ( may Allah be pleased with her ), who said: The prophet ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) said: Do not abuse the dead because they have found what they have sent forward. ( Bukhari )
حديث رقم 13
عن عائشة رضي الله عنها : عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : " ما زال جبريل يوصيني بالجار حتى ظننت أنه سيورِّثه " . ( رواه البخاري ومسلم ، واللفظ لمسلم ) .
On the authority of Aisha ( may Allah be pleased with her ), who said: The prophet ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) said: Gabriel advised me to do good to the neighbour to the point I almost thought he would eventually advise me to make my neighbour my heir. ( Bukhari and Muslim )
حديث رقم 14
عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : " صنفان من أهل النار لم أرهما . قوم معهم سياط كأذناب البقر يضربون بها الناس . ونساء كاسيات عاريات ، مائلات ، مميلات ، رؤوسهن كأسنمة البخت المائلة ، لا يدخلن الجنة ولا يجدن ريحها . وإن ريحها ليوجد من مسيرة كذا وكذا " . ( رواه مسلم )
On the authority of Abu Hurairah ( may Allah be pleased with him ), who said: The prophet ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) said: There are two types of the inmates of Hell whom I have not seen in my time: People having flogs like the tails of oxen with them and who would be beating people and women who would be dressed but appear to be naked who would be inclined to evil and make their husbands incline towards it. Their hair would be like the humps of the bukht camel inclined to one side. They will not enter Paradise and they will not smell its odour whereas its odour will be smelled from long distances. ( Muslim )
حديث رقم 15
عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : " لأن يحتطب أحدكم حزمة على ظهره، خير له من أن يسأل أحداً فيعطيه أو يمنعه " . ( رواه البخاري ومسلم ، واللفظ للبخاري )
On the authority of Abu Hurairah ( may Allah be pleased with him ), who said: The prophet ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) said: It is better for anyone to earn his living by carrying a load of fire wood on his back than begging someone to give him something for that person may refuse to give him anything. ( Bukhari and Muslim )
حديث رقم 16
عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : " الدنيا سجن المؤمن وجنة الكافر " . ( رواه مسلم )
On the authority of Abu Hurairah ( may Allah be pleased with him ), who said: The prophet ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) said: The world is prison for the believer and Paradise for the disbeliever. ( Muslim )
حديث رقم 17
- عن أبي برزة _ نضلة بن عبيد الأسلمي رضي الله عنه قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : " لا تزول قدما عبد حتى يسأل عن عمره فيمَ أفناه وعن عمله فيمَ فعل فيه ، وعن ماله من أين اكتسبه وفيمَ أنفقه ، وعن جسمه فيمَ أبلاه " . ( رواه الترمذي )
On the authority of Abu Berza ( may Allah be pleased with him ), who said: The prophet ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) said: A servant of Allah will remain standing on the Day of Judgement until he is questioned about his life how he spent it and about his knowledge and how he utilised it and about his wealth from where he acquired it and in what way he spent it and about his body as to how he used it. ( Tirmizi )
حديث رقم 18
عن صفية رضي الله عنها عن بعض أزواج النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : من أتى عرافاً فسأله عن شيء لم تقبل له صلاة أربعين ليلة ". ( رواه مسلم )
On the authority of Safiyya ( may Allah be pleased with her ), who reported from some of the wives of the Prophet ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) that : The prophet ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) said: He who visits a diviner ( an astrologist ) and asks him about anything his prayers will not be accepted by God for forty nights. ( Muslim )
حديث رقم 19
عن أبي يعلى شداد بن أوس رضي الله عنه : عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : " إن الله كتب الإحسان على كل شيء ، فإذا قتلتم فأحسنوا القِتلة وإذا ذبحتم فأحسنوا الذبحة ، وليُحد أحدكم شفرته وليرح ذبيحته " . ( رواه مسلم )
On the authority of Abu Yala Shaddad bin Aus ( may Allah be pleased with him ), who said: The prophet ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) said: Allah has made it obligatory to adopt a benevolent attitude towards everything. If you have to kill any animal kill it in the kindest way. When you have to slaughter an animal you must make it less painful for the animal you slaughter. Every one of you must get his knife sharpened to reduce the suffering of the animal to be slaughtered. ( Muslim )
حديث رقم 20
- عن أبي سعيد الخدري رضي الله عنه قال : سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول : " من رأى منكم منكراً فليغيره بيده فإن لم يستطع فبلسانه فإن لم يستطع فبقلبه وذلك أضعف الإيمان " . ( رواه مسلم )
- On the authority of Abu Saeed ( may Allah be pleased with him ), who said: The prophet ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) said: Anybody amongst you who notices something evil should correct it with his own hands. If he is unable to do so he should correct it with his tongue. If he is unable even to do this he should at least consider it as bad in his heart for this is the lowest degree of faith. ( Muslim )
